These nine individual rubbings evolved from a visual “riff” on each of the nine artists in my local artists group, “Seven Plus.” They were part of a group show, Community Reflected, that was exhibited at the studio of Nancy Head in Fortuna, California in September, 2006.

Each of these pieces is handrubbed with Caran d’Ache Wax Oil crayons on a 16” x 20” woodblock. No more than ten proofs haven been rubbed from each block, but no two will be exactly alike, given their individual application. Each rubbing is available unmatted for $275 or matted and framed with a wood or metal frame for $600. Framed measurements are 24” x 28”. In addition, the actual woodblocks are also available, framed, for $350. Shipping and sales tax are additional charges.
